Doug Vandemheen
President
Doug has been in the industry since 1978 . He completed his apprenticeship training in Western Canada primarily in the oil and gas sector. He moved back to Ottawa in 1987 and started up Custom Electric Ottawa Ltd., now the hold company of Earl Carr Electric Canada Ltd.
Doug joined Earl Carr Electric Ltd in 1992 as a Project Manager / Estimator and worked for two different ownerships until 2006 when he bought the shares of Earl Carr Electric Canada Ltd.
He has spent 16 years on the Electrical Contractors Association of Ottawa Board of Directors, as well as 7 years as a trustee for the IBEW Pension Fund..
